Anthill 30under30

I’m very excited to have been named one of the Anthill 30under30 entrepreneurs to watch in 2017 for my work with Art of Smart Education.

In 2016-7, I established a community of over 90,000 students, all looking for the answer to ‘What should I do with my life after school?’ whilst also facilitating an Australian-first collaboration in co-location between Art of Smart and KYDS Youth Development Service Inc.

The co‑location of  KYDS, a youth mental health organisation, with Art of Smart Education was designed to holistically tackle the growing youth unemployment and mental health crisis in Australia. As an ex-client of KYDS, and a young person still looking to answer the same question of what to do with my life, I am honoured to have been able to overcome adversity and mental illness to help other young people  to navigate their own lives.

A huge thank you to my friend and mentor, Rowan Kunz for helping and supporting me the whole way through, and for giving me the chance to show what I can do.

You can read more about what I get up to in my (rare!) spare time here: http://anthillonline.com/elisabeth-goh-2017-anthill-30under30-winner/

What do I want you to take away from this? Your mental illness does not define you: it’s what you do with it that does.

When we’re not trying to change the world, we’re rescuing each other from the other locking themselves out of the Art of Smart Campus in Hornsby! And yes, I did save Rowan!
